Guitar from Scratch (GfS) is a class for beginners, or near-beginners, or anyone wanting the fun of learning in a group setting. If you have always wanted to try the guitar, or if you are “rusty” and want to re-start playing, this is the class for you.
No previous playing experience or note-reading ability is necessary. Over the 3-day course, we will cover easy melodies and chords, basic technique, and types of guitar notation, including tabs and chord charts.
What you will need to bring:
An acoustic 6-string guitar. If you don’t have one, please contact us, we might be able to sort it out.
Guitar from Scratch will be held at Good Morning Hotel, Nyköping, 10-12 am Thursday May 2nd, Friday May 3rd and Saturday May 4th 2019 (the same time as individual lessons of the Seminar). For Seminar participants, there is no extra fee.
Price for separate course:
One two hour course, in which you will learn how to play a simple melody: 600 SEK
For the three day course: 1800 SEK
Participants in the three day course get free entrance to all evening concerts during the seminar days.
