From Italian Sonatas to Spanish poetry

The dream is to get the chamber music venue in Bergshammar finished in time for this concert, but if not it will be held at Nyköping Castle. More info on this to come.
The Italian guitarists Alberto Mesirca and Elena Cásoli will bring us music by Domenico Scarlatti. The story of a man and his donkey, Platero y yo, with music by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco over the famous poem by Juan Ramón Jiménez will be told by Eric Lammers on guitar and reading by Eva Norée.

This concert is a meeting between Georg Riedel’s music and the songs by Ulf Peder Olrog.
The performers are Georg Riedel – bass, Mats Bergström – guitar, the Olrog scholarship holder and troubadour Jan-Olof Andersson with ensembles and orchestra from Nyköping Guitar Seminar. They are led by Canadian guitarist, composer and conductor Tim Phelan.
